Inscapes was founded over 30 years ago by Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh. Since it’s inception, Inscapes has evolved through each personal interaction. Many have received enneagram wisdom over the years and many other have shared their wisdom. The fluidity of leaders, teachers and students continues to shift and change today. And will continue to change into tomorrow. Here are the current keepers of the Inscapes vision:

Carol Ann Gotch
Carol Ann Gotch is a spiritual director, teacher and workshop facilitator. A student of the enneagram since 1976, it is foundational in all her work. She holds a Masters in Spirituality from the University of California, Berkeley, and is involved in pastoral team-work as well as the role of adviser for the Prairie Jubilee Program. Since 2016 Carol Ann has lived at Touchstone, a house of prayer and spiritual retreat, where she devotes much of her time to prayer and writing.

Jane Powell
Jane Powell has been studying the enneagram under the guidance of Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh since 1985. She maintains a full time private business as a Bodytalk practitioner and is a dedicated enneagram teacher and spiritual director. She also consults as a speech language therapist and Bodytalk practitioner to a school in Norway House, Manitoba. Jane is a graduate of the Prairie Jubilee Program in spiritual direction.

Carole Dufault
Carole Dufault has been studying the enneagram under the guidance of mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh since 1993. She completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and works as a workshop facilitator for Inscapes. Carole is an experienced business manager and has a BA in Administrative Studies and a Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Winnipeg. She is also a certified MBTI (Myers-Briggs) practitioner and is a graduate of the Prairie Jubilee program for spiritual directors.

Dale Bially
Dale Bially has been studying the enneagram under the guidance of mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh since 1993. He completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and uses his knowledge to help transform organizations as well as individual lives through one-on-one counselling and team building workshops. Dale’s HR and business experience was developed over 25 years of running a Canadian retail chain as well as managing a large distribution branch in Winnipeg. Dale is currently an instructor for the Prairie Jubilee Program for spiritual directors.
David Walsh 1935-2015
David was one of the original founders of Inscapes. He was born in Montreal, Canada into a loving family of 12 children. That love was extended to his Oblate community and endured well beyond leaving the community in 1980.
Uniting in marriage with Carol Ann Gotch, together they traveled the country applying the enneagram symbol to understanding the mystery of love. Their love for their work and for each other become a force of service to others.
Many of David’s friends, students and clients continue to support and take part in the operation of Inscapes following David’s examples and Wisdom.
