The process of reading a short passage of Scripture slowly and attentively, ideally out loud, noticing any specific word or phrase that catches your attention."
I had the privilege of attending a group with Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh about 15 years ago when they started their work with the Lord’s Prayer and the Enneagram. There have been many times over the years that I was able to read new edits and experience where spirit was leading in them.
Some of the most powerful things I experienced during those classes was when we sat in small circles and read their book out loud.
As I start to read Carol Ann’s now complete version of this great book. I am drawn to read it out loud.
An Invitation:
I am looking for a few people who would like to gather every two weeks for an hour and read The Lord’s Prayer - A Path for Transformative Living Illuminated by the Enneagram together aloud. Over our six months together we will also listen for what shimmers.
There is no fee for these gatherings. I only ask that you bring your own copy of the book and attend as many evenings as you are able.
