The Lord's Prayer: A Path for Transformative Living Illuminated by the Enneagram by Carol Ann Gotch

After over thirty years of wrestling to put into word-form the living currents of prayer and the symbolic enneagram, Carol Ann Gotch is ready to offer her labor of love in book form: “The Lord’s Prayer - A Path for Transformative Living Illuminated by the Enneagram”.

In this manuscript, Carol Ann exposes the Lord’s Prayer as a work of revelation, weaving the well-known petitions through the hidden wisdom of the enneagram.  Through a blend of prose and free form verse, she brings the prayer alive in ways that are both meaningful and practical for the reader.  Each petition, building on the preceding, speaks to the human story; from first breath in the body to the final exhale of “Amen”.

This unique book illuminates a path for embodying our true purpose - to remember ourselves as beings of freedom and love, in constant relationship to the Divine.

Heart and Soul of the Enneagram

Heart and Soul of the Enneagram is the revised and expanded second edition of the first sold-out book by  Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh entitled Soul Stuff.

Published in 2011, Heart and Soul of the Enneagram is a reflective book of meditations. The text has been disposed in such a way as to allow plenty of space for silence and quiet. The reader is invited to pay as much attention to the empty spaces as to the words. Spacing and timing are bodily experiences that can open contemplative doorways.

This book includes meditative reflections on the inner experience of the deeper self. David and Carol Ann refer to this inner experience as the soul of each space.

This series of writings wil lead you beyond the personal typological issues and patterns to the cosmic dimensions infused from the spiritual world.

Each chapter of poetic writings are crafted to reach all three of our intelligence centres (head, heart and body), revealing the depth and richness of the enneagram as a guide for our spiritual journey.

Trinity of Ego

Carol Ann Gotch invites us all to the study and contemplation of the enneagram’s ancestral wisdom. The second book in the Inscapes Enneagram Companion Series offers insights into the dynamic processes within the mystery of the human ego.

Throughout this contemplative handbook, Carol Ann identifies and expands on the words we use in speaking of the individual “I” – ego and self.   She says “They all refer to the riddle of the human “I”. They ask, “Who am I?”, and “What is the ultimate purpose of my life?”

This book will challenge, enlighten and expand the way we all understand the connectedness of our humanness, our Souls and our Spirit selves.

The Law of Seven

The 3rd book in the Inscapes Enneagram Companion Series opens up a new understanding of how we as humans are empowered to create a new world.

“The Law of Seven was at play, surrounding me by the great work of Mystery, affirming that this was more than just a routine editing job. I discovered just how intimately God and Spirit are tied into music; how art, life, time in the garden are all interconnected. It was a privilege to be involved in this work, and never before have I seen such depth in rounds of edits.

Carol Ann Gotch

A mystical encounter with Divine Love at the age of 14, ignited Carol Ann’s life-long pursuit of deepening intimacy with God through prayer.  She was first introduced to the enneagram by Bob Ochs, at the University of Berkeley California, where she also met David Walsh, who would become her husband. In the decades that followed, Carol Ann and David traveled North America teaching the symbolic enneagram and hermetic Christianity and together they founded Inscapes.  After David’s death in 2015, Carol Ann relocated to a contemplative house of prayer on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg where she devotes most of her time to prayer and writing.

Carol Ann beckons us into a living relationship with the Lord’s Prayer, a personal encounter with a Mystery too great to be contained on a page, one that fills us with hope and love.
