In her new book, The Lord’s Prayer - A Path for Transformative Living Illuminated by the Enneagram, Carol Ann Gotch reveals the mystic connection between the nine petitions of the Lord’s Prayer and the nine energetic spaces of the enneagram. How have we missed this connection for so long and how can we reconnect to the prayer of Jesus?
Neil Douglas-Klotz, scholar and author of the book Prayers of the Cosmos, translated the original Aramaic prayer to reveal the original multilayered prayer for our planet. The translation opened him to not only the chanting of the Aramaic prayer, but also the dancing of it.
Over ten Monday mornings, we will use Carol Ann’s new book to connect the Lord’s Prayer and the enneagram and how they enlighten our human journey.
We will close each class by chanting and dancing this Great Prayer.
In this study group we will:
Expand our understanding of the traditional Lord’s Prayer
Reveal how the energies of each enneagram space are embodied in each of the 9 petitions of the Lord’s Prayer
Learn to chant Abwoon D'bashmaya, the original prayer in Aramaic
Learn to dance the Great Prayer
