A Day of Watercolour
with Carol Ann Gotch
& Dominique Rey
Join us for a day at the beach exploring the wisdom of watercolour.
Water is the element associated with Divine Wisdom and the angelic realm, while the movement of Spirit and light finds its expression in colour.
You are invited to a day of retreat, where through wisdom teachings and the creation of art we will bring together the essence of water and colour.
No prior experience with watercolour painting is required.
All art supplies will be provided (if you would prefer to bring your own supplies you are also welcomed to do so).
Bring your own folding chair and anything else you might require for a day at the beach (weather providing we will spend much of the day out of doors)
FACILITATORS:
Carol Ann Gotch
Carol Ann Gotch is a spiritual director, teacher and workshop facilitator. A student of the enneagram since 1976, it is foundational in all her work. She holds a Masters in Spirituality from the University of California, Berkeley, and is involved in pastoral team-work as well as the role of adviser for the Prairie Jubilee Program. Since 2016 Carol Ann has lived at Touchstone, a house of prayer and spiritual retreat, where she devotes much of her time to prayer and writing.
Dominique Rey
Dominique Rey is a French-Canadian visual artist whose work has been exhibited throughout Europe, the United States, and Canada and is also included in several permanent collections. She holds an MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, and an MFA in New Media from the Transart Institute in Berlin, Germany. She is a professor at the School of Art, University of Manitoba, located on Treaty 1 Territory and the Homeland of the Red River Métis.

FEE: $200 - lunch will be included
